Arris Surfboard -switch to faster port?

As long as your modem has been provisioned with the new 2 Gig boot file, you should be able to switch to the faster port to obtain higher speeds. You may need to reset the device you are connecting, but the reprovisioning should take care of everything else, unless Arris has other settings in the SURFBoard Central app that need to be configured first.
