arris surfboard sgb10

What is the firmware update status for the arris surfboard sgb10 gateway? My version is 9.1.103AA85. Is there a later version? If so, have you updated it? If not, when? Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out to us as a customer works from home & has two teenagers that are avid gamers, having the most updated firmware is a must in our home!

 

We actually have a link here that covers it. If you don't have an Xfinity xFi Gateway, you'll need to periodically check for firmware updates. Generally, you can check for these updates through your router's administration site. For specific instructions, please see your router's user guide.

this is very annoying. DOCSIS standards dictate that the service provider must distribute firmware updates to cable modem devices. The end-user cannot simply install an update.

@user_qk1jsx We do receive the latest firmware updates manufacturers create, that are required to allow the device on our network. We certify and roll out those updates immediately to all customers with applicable equipment. If the modem is active, it has the latest patches to be secure on our network. For more such as beta or unreleased firmware updates, check with the manufacturer or the app for the modem directly.
