Arris Surfboard S33

Does this cable modem work on the network or does it have problems like the Motorola MB8611?.   I was one that had that  modem and finally gave up and sent it back.   I am thinking about getting this cable modem now but wanted to make sure it was reliable.    Thanking you in advance.
