Arris Surfboard 6183 on Xfinity in 2025

Xfinity recently increased my download and upload speeds to 400 mb and 30 mb respectively. I was on their 300 mb download plan. Using a 5 year old Arris Surfboard 6183, my average download and upload speeds are around 400-461 mb and 39-41 mb, respectively. In prior years, Xfinity and customers were under the impression that max speed for the Arris SB 6183 was 373 mb. See these links:

Not that I am complaining, I just wanted to share this info. Glad I kept the Arris SB 6183. It has been rock solid, and never had any issues. My back up modem is a Netgear CM 700 just in case the SB 6183 dies on me. I think I'm good until Docsis 4.0 gets deployed in my area.
