Sort of. It only has 1G ports, so will be limited to about 940Mbit per port. It does have a second Ethernet port and you can use something called LAG with a supported router to combine them and get your full speed.
Not mine. Our town is suppose to support the new 1.2 Gb stream. I have an SB8200 and can only get 270mb down. The SB8200 is rated for 1Gb. It did increase the up speed from my old modem to 40mb, which helps with my needs. But my SB8200 has lots of error, expecially for software updates, so it's running the basic software. I will ask the question if I can have my account set to 800mb, which would be a 4X better speed. My SB8200 is "approved" for that speed. But it seems Comcast is a cookie cut system, you pay for the 1.2Gb package system so Comcast can tell the FCC "look what we have". So if you have the 1.2Gb plan. I would not bet this would work. I got the SB8200 for some $40 used. You should be able to downgrade your package (even though the price won't go down) so you don't have to shell out $240 for a 1.2 Gb approved modem. I never have a problem with the SB8200, rock solid for months unless Comcast has a problem. P.S. more then two years ago I had intermittent problems, Comcast finally just changed the 25 year old water logged line from the street. Rock sold after that.

@bfang8
FWIW, Comcast rates it to only 957 Mbps;
https://www.xfinity.com/support/devices#details
I would get something like the Motorola MB8611 They rate it up to 2.33 Gb.
