Arris SB8200 - slow speed and event log errors

I just upgraded to gigabit cable and picked up an Arris SB8200. I'm not hitting gigabit in speed tests, and every reboot gives me the Incompatible SW file error in the event log. Can anyone assist?

I understand how important your services are to you as they are to me as I also to work from home full time and any slow service issues will cause a headache not only to not be able to assist my customers but prevents my kids from getting school work done and being entertained while I am working! When you are looking at your speeds are you completing them while being hardwired to the modem or while on a WiFi connection?
