Arris SB6190 issues

Lots of uncorrectable errors in my SB6190. Three tech visits, and they want me to get a DOCSIS 3.1 modem. I think that my SB6190 is just fine.  Here is a snapshot of the Status logs.

Yes, I have reset enough times, and the errors have been the least in the last 24 hours.  Down from millions per channel, a week ago, to thousands.  This has corrupted a few of my files,

but I was able to recover.

My neighbour has similar issues, but no resolution yet.

Good evening @bapcha, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums regarding your modem issues. May I ask if you have tried reaching out to your Modem's manufacturer to see if they are able to assist with investigating your concerns?

Contacting the modem manufacturer isn't going help.  What did they change on your service visits? (pretty big difference in signal power from 10/30-11/7).   If you log into xfinity.com, do you have a maintenance notice banner on the top of the page -- local work notification?

Changing to DOCSIS 3.1 will probably make your problems worse.  Do you have a direct coax run from where the service enters the property to your modem, or are there any components like splitters, powered amplifiers, lightning suppressors, filters (MoCA) involved?

Local file corruption, unless you are talking about failed uploads/downloads isn't going to be related to an Internet provider issue.
