Arris S34 on NextGen headend with 1.2 up/down account locked at 40 up.
My customer-owned Arris S34 has successfully locked onto the upstream OFDMA channel (ID 43 at 36.2 MHz) on my local node, confirming mid-split is active on my line. However, my uploads are hard-capped at 40 Mbps. Please check the rate codes on my account to ensure the Next-Gen upload tier code is manually bound to this MAC address so it pushes the correct x2 configuration file.

I tried chat support, but they were more interested in selling me slower plans for more money. They told me to reboot my modem (again) and wait an hour. Not sure how waiting an hour would change anything. That said, it's only been 50 minutes, but I don't really expect anything to magically happen in 10 minutes. I'll post back if I'm wrong.

Another update and correction...
A new code was added to my account on 9/9, which caused my legacy "Gigabit Extra" provisioning to update to current Gigabit X2 provisioning, and that this is happening for every customer on Gigabit Extra. My S34 is now provisioned for 2100/300 and is operating in the ballpark of those speeds.
I may still go to the 1000/1000 plan with the XB10 in bridge mode.

A few other notes...
As expected, nothing changed after an hour. I have not rebooted the cable modem since the agent suggested that as the fix.
I'm running the speed test directly on my ASUS BQ16 Pro WiFi 7, 10Gbps wire-speed router (test built into the router's os).
The router is connected at 2.5Gbps directly to the Arris S34's 2.5 port with CAT6a cable.
The Arris S34 is connected just a few feet away from the demarc. There is a "PPC POEGB-1G70CW Ground Block with Integrated MoCA POE Filter" between the incoming coax cable and the patch cable leading to the S34. There are no other devices, no splitters, and no daisy chains - coax stops at the S34.

UPDATE: Although the Xfinity plan on my account says 1.2 / 1.2 speed, it's a legacy plan and isn't really 1.2 up; basically it's mislabeled.
I'm told I need to switch plans to get NextGen speeds.
Also learned that my DOCSIS 3.1 Arris S34 will only reach (up to) 444Mbps upstream on the Xfinity network. To get full-speed uploads, an Xfinity DOCSIS 4.0 device is needed, currently the XB10 (gateway) or XD4 (modem only).

1 Gig plan ordered. While I await the XB10 shipment to arrive, my provisioning dropped to 1000/100. Coincidentally, as I was typing this I received a text message that a courier with my XB10 is 13 minutes away. Fun.
