arris s33 links to eero pro 6e via 2.5gbps but no link lights

I have an Arris S33 an and eero pro 6e. I have a link, I'm getting internet and I'm getting my 1100mbps download speed, but I have no link lights on my modem between the 2.5 to 2.5 ports. If I connect between the 1gbps port and 2.5 Gbps on either device I get a light but not 2.5 to 2.5. Google says it could be in the S33 configuration.
