ARRIS G54 DOCSIS® 3.1 Multi-Gig Cable Modem & Wi-Fi® 7 BE18000 Router

Hello, So I just purchased the Arris G54 Modem/Router combo and still waiting on delivery. So my current Comcast Plan is Super + More which includes Voice (Telephone Service) which I don't use currently with my XB7 only reason is because the bundle was cheaper with all three ( TV, Internet & Voice) So I'm reading on Arris Community it says this G54 will not activate if voice is in my internet plan. Does anyone know if this True? Not a big deal I'll just call comcast and get a Double play deal or whatever they call it now but I just can't believe this would not activate just because phone service is included with my current Bundle.

NOTE: The G54 does not include voice capability and will not activate with an Internet plan with Voice service.
