Arris CM820A - still a good modem? When to upgrade?
Hi,
I purchased this modem a number of years ago (admittedly) I don't know how long ago. Getting on/off internet outtages, so trying to determine if it is worth upgrading this modem? If it is the most current / best spec for Comcast?

It depends on the speed tier that you are subscribed to ?
What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1
Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.
Is this a WiFi connection ?
