Arlo.
I have an Xfinity Gateway Router. My Arlo Essentials Outdoor Spotlight camera installed and works great. However, after 2+ weeks on Tech Support with Arlo, my Arlo Wireless Doorbell Camera won't install. I split the Bands on my router to 2.4GZ and 5GZ thinking that the camera could not locate the 2.4 Gz network. I even gave my Doorbell Camera a dedicated IP address in the Gateway Router "installed IPs' area.. Still does not install. The Arlo Tech guys sent me up 4 levels of Tech support and still , after several hours on the phone, the camera won't install. I even exchanged the camera for a new one and my Gateway Router still does not Recognize an Arlo Device. Some forums have said not to split the bands, others talk about Disabling the 5Gz network, then install the camera then reenable the 5Gz network.
Can I talk to a Live Xfinity person? Can't seem to locate this person.
Frustrating.

Hello @user_247e45 I apologize for the issue you've encountered with the Arlo wireless door camera, our community would like to assist.
As you mentioned, you've worked with tech support from Arlo;
Have you already hard reset the Gateway to factory defaults?
In addition, some of our customers are also splitting bands as you mentioned, they are separating the 2.4 and the 5.0 bands and giving them two different broadcast names / SSID's; as shown in the URL link below:
