Anyone get the 10G internet service yet? Its "supposed to be" turned on today. lol

Anyone got the 10G service turned on yet?  Faster speeds???
My speeds are slower than normal today now since they turned on the 10G service. I have the XB7 cable modem. They are sending me the XB8 but its not much better and the XB7 should get at least 1.5Mbps down but its not. I'm getting 650Mbps max down usually. Wired connection is even slower sadly. Tech support HAS NO CLUE AND NEVER HAS A CLUE about speeds or what is going on EVER sadly. They cant even spell internet.  Worst support EVER. Always has been. Anyone have better luck? I pray we get fiber soon from some OTHER company.

Is this using a different network than the normal one I currently have? Like, is this using cellular or something? Why are they offering a promo for it for only $25 a month? I'm interested but I'm wondering what the downside is.  Also I think it's pretty funny that they said it was supposed to be "turned on" on Valentine's Day.

Hello @geekgirrl thank you for reaching out to the community and providing immediate feedback regarding the 10G internet service. I understand you've had slow speeds, and this is not the experience that we would like for you to have.

As a part of the troubleshooting process, have you already restarted the modem?

@geekgirrl There is no 10G service. This is a bunch of clever marketing hoo-ha to try and get subscribers. Or stop them from leaving. They are being deceptive and giving the impression you can get 10G speeds or something. NOT! This speed was only achieved in a recent lab test.

AT&T is heavily advertising their 5G speeds and become a GIG-ilionaire. And this is Comcast's way of stopping users from going there. At least in the markets they both serve.
