Anyone experiencing random drops in download speeds in lansing area?

not sure what is happening started about a week ago now, on the 1.2gig plan but speeds drop to 360mbps randomly, spoke to online chat agent (not the virtual assistant) and he wants to charge me 100 dollars for a tech to come out. Seriously haven't had issues for nearly 6 years I've had this thing now all of a sudden issues and they want to charge me for something thats messed up on their end.  Anyways has anyone been experiencing this kind of issue in the 48917 area or nearby.

Sin26 Hello and thank you for bringing this to our attention here on our Xfinity Community Forums. I am very sorry to hear about the random drops in your download speeds and the frustration this has caused, especially after having a stable connection for so many years. I would be happy to look into this for you.

To get started, could you please send a direct message with your full name,  and the complete service address?

To send a "Direct Message":

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

Once I have those details, I can review your account and investigate what may be happening in your area.
