Another user having problems connecting to an xFi Pod (why did you close the other threads?)

Just have installed a new xFi Pod - various devices have auto-connected to it, but our main PC (which we bought the xFi Pod for) insists on connecting to the gateway, which is MUCH further away.

I did have the PC on 5 MHz preferred, but have changed to no preference.

Still no change.

What is the point of buying a WiFi extender if your kit won't connect to it?

UPDATE: Deleted the image showing other devices (e.g. iPhone and an HP Printer) all connected to the xFi Pod, whereas the Desktop PC is not.

As an aside, pretty stupid making things private when you try to add further diagnostic information.

Good morning user_ak4g6t

Can you please confirm the OS version, and wireless card spec on the PC? If you are not sure on the wireless card spec, if the PC is a stock unit, we can also grab the make/model to ID the card type. I was curious if you have attempted to go into the OS preferences to attempt and "forget" the previous network connection to then regain communication with the expanded network? The PC will typically just go off prior preference settings, regardless of what expanded gear is added in the home. When you have that device repair, it would then view the expanded wireless grid to pair with the closest network access point.
