Angry 23 year customer.....
There was a tree cutting service across the street on Wed 8/19 and our T.V/internet went down. Pretty sure they hit the pole with something. Reported outage to Comcast via virtual assistant (which seems to be about all you can do) and it said "would keep us posted". Sunday, still no T.V/internet and no response. Called customer service after 30 minutes and finally getting someone on phone (barely speak English), can not send someone out until Friday 8/28 between 5-8PM. She couldn't give me a credit for the 10 days of no service either. Almost 2 hours on phone for her to add a line to my Verizon cell phone so the household could "use internet hotspot". Yeah, well, that doesn't work. The phone has to be within 4 feet of anything for it to work so the household certainly isn't going to use it. The speed/connection is terrible (I will never use Xfinity mobile after this experience). So no T.V/no internet for 10 days, no solution, and no credit when paying $300 a month. Fiber is looking better and better for $200 month cheaper and faster speeds. I already have several streaming services so the T.V has become useless pretty much anyway. Getting any kind of person is an act of congress and most of them can't be understood. The customer service stinks. Think it's time to just move on to someone who can at least fix problems when they arise.
