All Apple Devices Not Connecting to Xfinity Hotspot
Since last night 11/14/2022, all my Apple Devices, iPhone, iPad, and Macbook, could not connect to Xfinity Hotspot anymore (including xfinitywifi and XFINITY). The network on my Windows laptop is still working. Does anyone have a similar or same issue before? Is there any way I can solve the problem? Here are some methods I tried but failed:
- Manually change the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Forget the network and re-connect
- Shut Wifi on my devices and re-open
- Restart my devices
Is this a network issue or actually device issue? By the way I don't know how to check whether these devices are blocked.

Hello @imlucasmu
Thank you for bringing this issue to our Xfinity Community Forum. You are in the right place for help. thank you also for sharing the troubleshooting steps you have tried.
Have you isolated this issue to Apple products only? Are you able to connect any non-Apple devices to the hotspots?

IN a similar vein: The Xfinity Hotspots app simply won't open in iOS 16.1.2. The app will download to the iPhone, but will not open. I have reloaded the app twice, restarted the phone multiple times, etc. Before trying to reload the app, the security settings in Xfinity Hotspots would not open in iOS 16.1.1.

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 4-month-old dead thread is now being closed.
For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on an old thread can delay getting help.
