After area upgrade from xfinity, cbr750 does not connect

Everything was working fine until xfinity did and upgrade to where I live and my cbr750 stopped connecting completely. Now they say is my router that is not being recognized. A factory reset has not helped.

Three times. I even had a technician out to test signal and the signal is coming in great and stops at the modem. Like magic. Upgrade done and the Cbr 750 is out. Is severely disappointing that after being an xfinity user for so many years this happens without a heads up. I have read everywhere that is the ISP that is not recognizing the equipment because of the upgrade.
