Advanced security won’t turn on in app

After changing my password at the request of the xfinity app, I noticed the advanced security feature was off. When I click to turn it on it goes to the activation screen and when I click on the banner button on the bottom it loops back to the “turn on” advanced security page. Please help.

I’m having the same problem. It was working fine yesterday and then this morning I discovered I had been logged out of my app. When I logged back in, it says Advanced security is turned off. I tried to turn it on in the app, but it just loops back around telling me to turn it on again. It never actually completes the action. I’ve tried calling Xfinity, but waited on hold for 40 minutes and the entire time the automated voice kept saying my wait time was “more than 40 minutes.” I’m a little concerned about what’s going on. Anybody at Xfinity have any answers?

The Advanced Security is back on this morning, however I can't access the status through the security tab in the app. I found the status in the overview tab where it says your network is protected and then View Advanced Security.
