Advanced Security will not turn on

Even after contacting an Xfinity tech who said she enabled Advanced Security, it is not on.  I waited several hours to check to see if was on and it isn’t.  I have rebooted the gateway and tried repeatedly but it is still won’t turn on!

@user_05d91b Thanks for reaching out! Have you tried to enable Xfinity xFi Advanced Security from the Xfinity app on your end? Use Xfinity xFi Advanced Security

The day after I posted the above message, Advanced Security was on.  I guess it took more time than I thought it would to be updated after the Tech worked on it.  

Also, I had previously repeatedly tried to turn it on, without success, in the Xfinity App.  It took contacting Xfinity and having it turned on from there for it to start working
