Admin Tool on Xfinity Gateway option missing from Xfinity App

reopening thread cause some genius decided to close it when this issue still exists. Apple does not show option to enable admin tool, but going to 10.0.0.1 is still met with the following message:

Managing your home network settings is now easier than ever. To manage your gateway settings and other features, please download the Xfinity app.

Is this issue ever going to be fixed? Looks like it's been a known issue for at least 7 months now based on the closed thread
