Additional Solutions To Add Ports
Good Afternoon All
I have the black gateway not sure of the model but it has 2 Ethernet Ports and 2 Phone Ports. Is there a way to get a Gateway that has 4 Ethernet Ports? I have my PC that needs to be hardwired or I prefer it to being hardwired. I have my FireTV Cube on Ethernet, My Google Home Wifi Extenders plugged into the other Ethernet Port. Not sure if a splitter would work in the case?

You can use an ethernet switch connected to one of the LAN ports on the gateway if you want more ports;

Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Community Forums support page. Our Forums Expert @EG suggested a great idea of purchasing a network switch which you can purchase to fit your needs. I personally use an 8-port network switch so I can connect a variety of additional devices since I like to hardwire my devices in order to receive he best connection possible. They are also relatively inexpensive, but help provide great versatility for your home network.
Alternatively, you can visit a local Xfinity Store and see if you are able to swap the device out for a different model that would have additional Ethernet ports if available. You can find the closest Xfinity Store by visiting our Xfinity Retail Store Locator and Service Center Locations support page.

With the latest models (XB8 and XB7) they would get 4. The earlier XB6 has only 2.
