Additional IP address for SB8200
Just recently added TV service to my Xfinity account and included a couple of wireless TV endpoints. Not at all happy with having these behind my regular firewall. Just picked up a SB8200 and as I look at it I think it would be well worth the additional configuration for me to move a wireless gateway off from behind the main firewall and dedictate it to the Xfinity devices.
How dow I get an additional IP address allocated? Chat could not help. Did the perma-hold with customer service as well but had to drop. Need some decent help here.

They are phasing it out but I'm going to escalate your issue to the Comcast corporate employees that are available to these boards. We've seen cases here where they have been able to get this accomplished for customers even when it is not listed in their rate cards, YMMV. You should get a reply here in your topic. Good luck !

Hi @whysolong,
Thank you for posting to the Xfinity Forum. @EG is correct. Having an additional IP is being phased out in most areas. I'd be happy to review your account to see if this is still an option that's available to you. To get started, please send a private message with your full name, as it appears on your billing statement and your service address. To send a message, click on my name "ComcastChe," then click send a message.
