Access Denied You don't have permission to access

I have a connection problem again in two months.

Here is an example of Access Denied.  There are more sites I cannot access since yesterday.

Why does Xfinity cannot fix this problem?  Probably there is no way for me to fix this problem like before.  Just wait something happen.

I may ask for the replacement of a leased modem.

Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://www.kroger.com/pr/pickup-delivery-savings-4?" on this server.

... Why does Xfinity cannot fix this problem? ...

"Access Denied / You don't have permission" messages are issued by the destination site or its webhost, not by Comcast. It's likely the site is blocking your public Comcast IP. You can look up your IP at https://www.google.com/search?q=my+IP You'll probably need to ask the sites' admins for help with this.

Ok, thank you for the additional details. Does the pop up blocker come up when trying to go to a site at the top of the page with a lock symbol?

I no longer actively support the Xfinity Forum or work for Comcast.

No it does not.  The pop up blocker does not come up.

Thanks for letting us know @user_c21736. Please manually unplug your internet modem and plug it back in. Sometimes an update could be preventing internet traffic to go through.

"www.kroger.com" is located on Akamai's network. See https://community.akamai.com/customers/s/article/Why-is-Akamai-blocking-me?language=en_US (thanks to @Hemingray42 for finding that page).

"Access Denied / You don't have permission" messages are issued by the destination site, not by Comcast, so Comcast can't help you. A person or a program using your Internet service is doing something Kroger's servers don't like. You'll probably need to ask Kroger's web admins for help with this.

I have submitted the investigation request to the Akamai network.

Note that the link I posted says:

Akamai does not block users from accessing our customers’ websites. ... If you are unable to access a web site, this may be the result of a policy configured by the site owner you are attempting to access. To make a change to this policy, the site owner (the Akamai customer) would have to change their policy. Akamai is unable to make this change without the explicit direction of the site owner.

The "site owner" here is Kroger. You really should contact them about this.

Akagami said my ip address is rated as Web scraper.  I have no idea what it is.  I am afraid that my PC has viral infected.

@user_c21736 That's very strange. Resetting the modem will give you a new IP Address. You can also go into the command prompt and type ipconfig/release and then ipconfig/renew for the same thing. The web address for Kroger that you provided works on my system.

I have checked 6 devices, 2 iphones, 1 ipad, 1 kindle fire, and 2 laptops.  All devices has the same problem.  I think a modem is probably the reason of this problem.
