A unknown device is connected to my Wi-Fi

A ASUS Zenfone live is connected to my Wi-Fi and i don't know how. I've reset my password and Wi-Fi name and it connected back again. I can only pause it but i want it off my network because i don't know who's phone or device it is. Any help on how to get it off or figure out who it is ?

Hi there, @Mysteriousfigg007! Thanks for taking the time out of your day to reach out. You did the right thing by resetting the password and pausing the device. The first thing that comes to mind in this situation is a failed point of entry (POE) filter. That separates connections between neighbors when they are using some of the same wiring going to the street. We would have a technician out to fix that. Do you live in an apartment, townhouse, or duplex where you share a wall with a neighbor?

I had the same exact problem. 2 days ago a new device named Asus Zenfone Live running android Oreo showed up on the xfinity app. I paused the device but I want it off my network as well.
What is this device and how come multiple people around the same time saw the zenfone live appear on xfinity app?

@user_lotg3w Thanks for bringing your concerns to our attention. Our team is here to help. Is the device still there?

Has this happened before?

I recommend removing that device from your network.

As a safety measure I suggest changing your Wi-Fi password. This will also require you to reconnect all your devices.

Same thing with me.  Reset password and modem twice , paused it and I still receive the notice of how "Asus Zen Fone Live just connected with a strong signal (flex emoji).  This is beyond annoying.  Any ideas other than all of our neighbors using the same old phone with Android 12 running and bypassing our new password immediately after reset?
