75% or more less speed than promised
2Gig wifi. H! Speed tests ran as low as 164 MBPS. 1 was 308, 1 was 351, 1 was just over 500! My adt cameras won't stay connected, my TVs arent even all switch over. Even my cat feeder kicked off. AND after spending hours upon hours over days switching things over. At least with Century link I got 500 or more and everything worked. They gave what they promised and EVERYTHING worked. Waste of time and money. Giving
them one chance to fix it. Was going to switch phones and streaming services. Can update you later but so far I've wasted so much of my life I widh I had never attenpted to trust this company.

Hello user_g8u5u8 thank you so much for reaching out here on our Xfinity Forums regarding your internet services issues. It sounds like a lot of home devices are having issues connecting - some home intent connected devices require a 2.4GHz internet channel to connect to. Our newer Xfinity Advanced Wireless Gateways ( XB6 and higher) use a new feature called band steering that creates a singular Wi-Fi channel for devices to connect to, and this can cause connection issues in certain 2.4Ghz devices.
" If you don't see the 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi channel settings (i.e., WiFi Mode, Channel Selection, and Channel Mode), it means that these settings are being managed automatically to help optimize your home network and provide the best performance possible.
Using the Xfinity app
Sign in to the Xfinity app with your Xfinity ID and password.
Select WiFi (from the bottom navigation on the Xfinity app).
Select View WiFi equipment.
Select Advanced settings.
Select WiFi bands.
If you would like to select a specific WiFi channel, select Edit next to 2.4 or 5 GHz.
A dialog window will appear.
Choose the channel number from the Channel drop-down.
To complete the change, select Apply Changes at the bottom of the dialog window."
(Derived from How to change your home network's WiFi channel selection or mode)
This should help with those device connection issues. Regarding speeds, is this still a concern, or has it improved?
