5ghz wifi doesn't connect with any of my devices.

I am using Xfinity gateway device i guess .. its XB7, I splited the wifi into 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz. When I tried to connect with 5GHz wifi none of my device can connect with that, even with correct password. Besides that .. sometimes .. my wifi is shown as 6 and sometimes nothing. is that normal ?

@prabin, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. A lot of times these settings are managed automatically to help optimize your home network. Let us know if you are still having issues, so we can help.

The problem still exists, I reported it and got the router changed. the Wi-Fi 5Ghz worked for a few days (less than a week) and I am having the same problem again.
It will be better to notify users before overwriting users' settings automatically remotely. I was checking the logs to the router, and I found multiple error messages and commands were pushed to the modem. I guess that messed things.

internet speed also dropped significantly, and with 2ghz wifi, when I try cast my phone on TV, there is huge lag that is one of the reason I was splitting into 2 bands.
let me know if there is any ways I control my settings and not make it automatic.
