5ghz internet not working

Ok I get it, do not try and tag the ticket, if I have to type this thing out one more time I’m gonna flip. My internet has a 2.4g and 5g version I’m sure you know, 5g is much faster and I need that for work. The 5g stopped working. I cannot connect to it. I have restarted the modem, I have troubleshooted in the app. I thought it was range but now devices right next to it can’t connect.

I'm having the same issue also. The 5ghz is no longer showing. The issue started about 3 weeks ago and has been downhill since then.

Hey there user_65f0ap. I am happy to assist further with this. I do have a couple questions to help me understand better. Do you have an Xfinity gateway or your own modem? If ours, is it one of the white gateways? Our newer gateways have both channels built in and normally assign devices to the channels they are best suited for automatically.

Tjfrancom Hello, I am sorry you are having service issues. I understand how frustrating it is, and I am happy to help you troubleshoot your service. Is the equipment connected to a splitter?
