5G Wifi Not Working

So my 5G has not been working for months. I have been bumped down to my 2.5 wifi and it's very slow for my work. When I try to connect to my 5G it says I have no connection. I've tried using the troubleshooting bot and none of that worked, I tried resetting the modem, I tried running the troubleshooter in my PC's settings as well. Nothing seems to get the 5G to work. Oddly, it has made a second copy of the 5G as well. It reads as (Name of wifi (2)). Any solutions? I think at this point I need the human touch, the bots aren't quite getting at a solution here.

For more information: I do not have an xfinity modem.

Hello, @Misadvencherus! Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! I apologize to hear that you are having issues with connecting to your 5Ghz band. Since you are using your own modem the troubleshooting we can do will be limited. Have you logged into the modem to try to disable the 5G network and then enable it again? Are any other devices like a cell phone having issues accessing the 5G network?

Thank you for the response! My cell phone and other devices, like gaming devices, can connect not problem. It seems to just me my PC. When you say log into the modem, do you mean the website of the brand the modem belongs to?
