2nd outage this week

I work from home. It’s the second outage this week. What can I do? I need daytime reliable service. What is happening?

First. When these outages occur are they being officially indicated here with any info about them ?;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

Or you can use the Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps

But I’m wondering for the future. I wfh and they don’t allow me to connect to hotspots. How do you find out if it is an ongoing issue?

user_at1v4s  You would know if it was planned work by checking your Xfinity app. We do let customers know if we plan to complete work in your area that will impact your connection. There are of course interruptions that are out of control, and are not planned, when that happens, we do work to get services restored as soon as possible. In place of using hot spots, we do offer our Storm Ready device that is designed to help keep you connected even when your normal connection can not.
