2nd IP for residential account

Is there a way to get a second Public IP address for my residential account? I called tech support and and they never really understood what I was asking. I work remote full time and everything in my house runs through a company suppled firewall and that is causing a few issues. I bought a Hitron modem that has two ports on it.  I reached out to Hitron support and they suggested I ask here.

Thanks

They are phasing out this feature so it may no longer be available, but I'm going to escalate this to the Comcast corporate employees that are available to these boards. We've seen cases here where they have been able to get this accomplished for customers even when it is not listed in their rate cards, YMMV. There would be a small additional fee. You should get a reply here in your topic. Good luck !

Good Morning, @user_9smron! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us, I know how vital it is to have a solid connection within the home with working from home. At this time, residential accounts are not eligible for additional IP's. Have you tried any of the steps here https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/internet/answered-tips-for-troubleshooting-your-xfinity-internet-connection/602da481c5375f08cd7fbb7c for further troubleshooting? Please let us know if you have any further questions/concerns.

Thanks for the response XfinityAdrienne. I don't have a connection issue, my connection is good. What I want is to have two connections, one to feed my personal router and another to feed a SonicWall firewall that my company has provided me so I can connect with our office. Right now everything goes through the SonicWall first. I would like to have my work and personal setup separate.

Is there any way to accomplish that?
