Our house is single story & only 1500sf buy the wifi connection isn't strong enough for my son's gaming. Can a 2nd connection be hardwired into his room? Thx

Your router or gateway should have Ethernet ports in the back - you can run an Ethernet cable from a free port to your son's gaming platform of choice.
In my case, I used flat Ethernet cable so it can run under carpets and doorways easy.
