2.5 years, 20 plus tech visits Abd 15 modems still no help
I have to start over every time. There is no follow up or follow through.
same issues.
intermittent connectivity
apps show my devices as numerous devices all with different titles.
my work computer ( school did trick security) reports port forward being held captive. High risk. Contact network provider.
yet no one knows what to do.
this has been going on for 2 Abd half years.
I can’t connect any security cameras. Game systems ext.
i can’t work from home. During Covid My students never had class because I never had enough connectivity. Ever. Yet I have to start at the beginning of the line every time I call. Start all over. I must have hundreds of open tickets. But wait…. The close them as resolved. What? Nothing works.
I tech was here less than 48 hours ago.
I woke up this morning to get sine work done and I had no connectivity on my work and iPhone.
my work computer, once again, warned of the port being held captive. High risk.
it’s a google chrome yet in my apps it is showing as HP 6470b Pro book
my new iPhone has the sane issues. Right now it shows I’m connected as two devices.
my one phone. Neither is titled what I labeled them as.
Ive had to register my iPhone several times. Somehow it disappears.
Same with with two step verification
I call all the time but get nothing but a headache as I have to start all over this the 20 plus tech visits and 15 or so modems/gateways.
the list goes on and on. I have another tech visit set up for this week. I have to start all over again.
i ca t leave as they are the only ones on my street that provide service. I’m stuck. Abd they don’t have any systems in place for actually resolving any of my internet security and intermittent connectivity issues.
even had managers in advanced tech not able to access my settings to change passwords or anything. I was locked out for so long s as bd so we’re they but no one did anything. After a few hours we would stop and a tech visit created. When techs come they change the modem Abd check the wires. Then leave.
the problem is fixed for anywhere neutered 5 minutes and 48 hours then it goes to [Edited: "Language"] again with the same issues. Then I call and we start over. The same process with no long term solutions. Signal strengths are good.
thank you

I believe it has to do with my port forward being compromised. But Xfinity doesn’t know how to handle this issue.

I write a post about having the sane issue with connectivity, apps, security and my port forward being tampered with but Xfinity deleted it.

That is the truth Abd why they receive the lowest customer service rating. Worst in the world.
why? Why can’t they just try and provide solutions instead of create a system that has its customers spend so much time getting nowhere that they eventually stop trying. Abd that is what, I believe, Comcast/Xfinity does on purpose.
