2.4gh not transmitting on XB8 Need Help

I'm a pretty new customer to Xfinity (since March), and until this week I've not had issues. Nearly all of my devices have disconnected one by one from my XB8 starting earlier this week. This includes my security cameras, my garage door opener, my printer, my robot vac - everything that uses a 2.4gh band.  Here's what I have done based on what I've found on this forum and on Reddit:

1. Reset the XB8

2. Tried to rejoin the network (combined, not split) on devices. The error I get is that it doesn't recognize the password.

3. Rest the password on XB8 with the cobmined not split network.  Reset the XB8. Still no luck

4. Split to separate bands and create new log in and password for each band. Reset the XB8.  5gh works fine. 2.4gh - still same error - won't recognize the password

I don't know what to do next. When I go through the assistant, it says nothing is wrong, so I cannot get to an agent. I'm beyond frustrated and no one seems to have a solution. I'm not sure how this is considered providing a service I'm paying top dollar for. HELP!
