2.4 ghz

I have a camera that requires 2.4ghz.  I cannot access that in my wifi

Thank you very much for reaching out to us here @user_09rpwb. I will be happy to check on any network issue for you. May I ask what type of modem you have? You should have the option to set a different WiFi name and password for the radio bands that are broadcast by your xFi Gateway (e.g., 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6GHz, depending on model).
If you don't see that option, that means you either: 

  • Have WiFi Boost Pods on your network, or
  • Your advanced WiFi settings are being managed automatically.

I have the same problem now with my cameras.  I find it appalling that it is impossible to turn off that automatic management of the advanced WiFi settings - except of course the app lets you think you can, but then does not actually save the changed settings..  So back to the store I go to get yet another model that supports 2.4 ghz.  Comcast, you are an exhausting monopoly.
