2.4 GHz v. 5GHz signal

Hello,

I have a Managed Plan with Xfinity through my apartment complex and do not have 2.4 GHz signal. I also don't have advanced access to my settings to fix said issue. The lack of 2.4 GHz signal is messing with my ability to connect to my bluetooth lights, cat feeder or printer. What can I do? Do I need a new router or can I adjust it own my end. Please advise.

Hello @user_33f0m5 This really depends on the setup of the managed Wi-Fi through the apartment. Do you have a modem in unit that they provided?
