2.4 GHz not showing up

I am trying to set up my ring doorbell which only runs off a 2.4 GHz network. I have gone into the app and split my WiFi network into 2.4 and 5 GHz and named them separate things. The 2.4 GHz network won’t show up on my ring camera app or ANY of my smart devices. I’ve even turned off my 5 GHz network and it still doesn’t show the 2.4 network. I’ve rebooted my router, rebooted my devices, and tried everything I can think of and everything your “support team” told me to try.

I find it hard to believe that the leading video doorbell brand is not compatible with a leading internet provider

Hi, @user_m4f6ad! We are glad you reached out so we can ensure all of your devices are connected. You should not have any compatibility problems getting your doorbell hooked up. You did a good job with the troubleshooting steps you tried. This page shows some steps to set up the network on your doorbell, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/issues-connecting-devices-wifi-network. Can you try using the reserved IP to connect it?
