Thank you so much for reaching out, @rjboblee For the upgrade we will notify you via email/account when your area is ready, and you'll need a new DOCSIS 4.0 compatible modem, often provided by them for free if renting, as your current 3.1 modem won't fully support 4.0's capabilities. The upgrade involves both network upgrades by the ISP and new equipment for you, with notifications guiding you on device swaps and activation.-Richard
