1GB Xfinity >> Netgear CM1200 >> LinkSys Velop AC4800 (WHW03 & WHW01)
I have been experiencing internet drops where the Velop Plug-in lights turn red then evenually turn blue again. This will obviously interrupt the tv or video that we are watching. Is there documentation that shows the correct settings for the tabs in the velop software titled; Internet Settings, Local Network, Advanced Routing for the Velop Router to be configured properly to be compatible with the CM1200 and Xfinity Internet service?
I have had Xfinity out and they have replace connectors and made measurements to the service at the house so I know that is good. I have a straight connector from the outside service to the Modem in the house of about 5 feet long so no splitter issues. All I can think of is that there are settings on either the Modem or Router or both that must be configured for Xfinity service that I do not have correct. Anyone else have the same configuration and/or experienced something similar?
Thank you in advance!

For a test, does a computer hardwired directly to the Velop's ethernet port with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?

O/k so that narrows it down to being a WiFi / Velop problem and not a general problem with the connectivity to the Comcast coax system. Look on the Velop website for troubleshooting support. Good luck !
