1.2GB plan on XB7 and getting only 200-300 mb wifi

I'm getting frustrated and been giving up on fixing this issue. My wifi speed has been for the past 3-4 years at 200-300 mb as per ookla speed test.

I had xfinity run tests all the works but nothing.

I have a dell xps laptop 2020 model as hardware. I understand this is an older model but I think that 200-300 mb is far under what I suppose to get. How do you guys check the speed that comes in to the modem?

Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1535 Wireless Network Adapter is the wifi card and it shows a 867mb max speed.

Any help will be appreciated to get these speed up.

Thanks

Hey there, user_j6oafs! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to here on the Xfinity Forums! I am sorry to hear about the experience with the wireless connection. What troubleshooting steps have you completed? Are you experiencing slow connectivity on all devices within the home? There are some awesome steps here as far as troubleshooting steps to help the connection. Are you able to hardwire the laptop to the modem directly?
