10.0.0.1 admin tool [Edited]

Whenever I try to access the admin tool via 10.0.0.1 it doesn’t work and tell me to go to the Xfinity app. Whenever I go to the Xfinity app and go to advanced internet settings it’s always blank and never ever loads.

Hi there, have you checked to make sure there are no more updates available to your Xfinity app?

I hope this helps someone. Make sure your modem is provisioned and synced to your account. Once you have confirmed this, go to your xfinity app and reactivate your modem. When you do this, it will ask for the CMAC# if you have a Gateway modem (its under the bottom of the modem). Once you have successfully activated using the CMAC# it may automatically ask you to change wifi name and password. OR you can go to WIFi tab at the bottom of the Xfinity app > View Equipment option and turn the Admin Tool Access to ON. And now you should be able to get into the 10.0.0.1 page on a laptop. Thanks.
