Xumo

Just received Xumo box and remote. Spent 45 minutes on Xfinity live chat with two different agents and neither could explain why I need (or the purpose for) a Xumo remote. I seem to navigate just fine so far with the Firestick controller. Neither could explain the Xumo interface with the TV. Documentation was paltry three instructions to plug in cords and follow in screen instructions....and...nothing! Why do these large corporations throw products out like this without a proper introductory documentation? I simple one or two page explanation of the setup would take someone a few hours to write but instead the poor documentation results in countless man hours of help lines. Crazy. I can understand if the technology moves so fast that written instructions can be outdated too quickly but at least have a coherent system that can be updated online.
