Xumo stream boxes

On both the Xumo boxes when using HBO Max after you click on a show there is a black screen no pictures.  I have unplugged and did a reboot that seems to work for a few days then it starts up again

Hey there @user_lay6dy! I am sorry for the repeated interruption to your viewing experience! It is definitely frustrating to have a fix only last for a few days before that black screen returns. Since a standard reboot only provides a temporary band-aid, we likely need to clear out the app's "local storage," which effectively flushes out the corrupted data causing the glitch.

On your XUMO stream boxes please try these steps to perform a deeper refresh:
  • Clear Locally Stored Data: This is more thorough than a simple unplug. Go to Settings > System Management > Resets and Updates > Locally Stored Data and select Clear. This will sign you out of most apps, but it often resolves persistent black screen issues by removing conflicting cache files. (be sure you remember your apps sign in details before performing this step)
  • Refresh Your Apps: In that same Resets and Updates menu, select Refresh Apps. This ensures your Max app is running the latest version and re-syncs it with the Xumo platform.
