Xi6-A Ethernet connection

I cannot get the Ethernet port to connect at 1 G speed. It switches back to 100 Mb speed. I have done all the default checks like cables, routers, loose plugs etc. When I connect my laptop to the same router port It works fine at 1 G speed. I am wondering if the WiFi is interfering with the Ethernet connection? In the settings on the TV there is not an option to turn off the WiFi.

user_tperk Thank you for stopping in for help with this speed drop with your hardwired connection. Since the Xi6 TV box normally has a wifi connection, turning off the Wifi connection on the TV box would not be in the settings. You can use the Xfinity app in the connected devices section it should show how the device is currently connected. Have you checked the Xfinity app already to confirm if the Wifi is taking over? 

Could I ask what Modem you are working with for the hardwired connection?
