Xfnity streaming app not working on my kindle HD10

The app appears on my kindle to sign.  When I click on sign in nothing shows up where I can sign in

Hello @user_7ct88a Thank you so much for sharing the trouble you are having with the Stream app on the kindle device. I believe the issue is due to the app not being compatible with the device. I checked the systems requirements here, and I was not able to locate any details for the kindle. Do you have the option to uninstall and reinstall the Xfinity Stream application?

Yes, tried that several times and the same thing happened.  Will check with Amazon reps to find out what might be wrong.

Just have not been in the mood to diddle with more technology.

https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-tv-app-requirements says Amazon Fire TV and tablet devices must be running Fire OS 6 or later. Some Fire HD 10 devices may not be capable of running Fire OS 6 or higher and so won't meet the requirements of the Stream app. For the latest Fire OS version supported by tablet devices see https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=G2JXLC4L34GX73TE.
