Xfinity streaming service requires login everytime I use it (Apple TV)

Similar to what has been posted a countless number of times in the forum, virtually every time I try to use the Xfinity streaming app, it demands that I login again.

None of the standard troubleshooting steps have made the slightest difference (e.g. uninstalling and reinstalling the app, etc).

Another thread with he same title I used here had a recommendation that users post individual threads to report the issue (which I find highly counterproductive considering the pages and pages of users who posted in the original threads……), so here I am!

cortig Good afternoon! Thank you for taking the time to reach out to our Community Forums Team regarding your TV. I can see how having to login everytime would be a bit annoying. I'm happy to take a look, and help you get this ironed out. To get started, can you please send a Direct Message with your name, the service address, and your User ID you are using for your Xfinity Stream App? 
 
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
