Xfinity streaming not working on my laptops and can't get through to a live agent. Extremely mad!

I've done hard reboots on both of my Dells (both running current systems and no problems), and can streaming other services.  My Xfinity streaming is working fine on my mobile phone and was working on laptop and tablet earlier today.  Checked the Xfinity site to see if there was a problem, but it claims there isn't (though it indicates work is planned for overnight after 1 a.m.).  BUT, it is the attempt to "Chat" that is the most maddening thing about the whole experience!  How can a company that claims to be on the cutting edge of technology---and to which I pay over $300 per month for a package deal---use an AI chatbot that basically serves up canned responses and can't recognize when those are not helping the customer?  I think it is because the company puts bottomline over customer satisfaction.  It expects most to give up, and I guess the problem to miraculously heal itself.  I'm contemplating whether I really need all of that non-service.  I will stream my other services tonight and contemplate whether to report this issue to a local investigative reporter who can get answers I can't, or the attorney general for the company's business practices.  I'm a 73-yr. old who is not a ludite, nor someone to lick my wounds and limp away.  Fix your "chat," if that's the only way customers can contact you.  I have saved four pages of the lengthy and maddeningly crazy exchanges with the AI chat.  Who is monitoring it?  I want answers, and not from another chat box.
