Xfinity Streaming not working just on smart TVs

Yesterday, the Xfinity streaming app on my 2 smart TVs stopped working properly.  It had worked the day before and was still working on my PC. It only affected the 2 smart TVs, an LG and a Samsung.   The Xfinity app loaded but when I clicked on Live TV, the channels would not load with error code TVAPP-00502.  I called Xfinity and I tried multiple things, like unplugging the TV, uninstalled the app and reinstalling it.  Either Xfinity called back after waiting 1 hour for their process to finish or I called them.  The 4th person told me there was a streaming outage and I would get a text with it had been corrected.  This afternoon when I still had the same problem I called back the Tech Support phone number that I had from Xfinity, 888-266-2278.   I talked to Joy who was able to fix the issue.  I wish I had talked to her first !
