I’m experiencing the same problem
I'm having the same issue. Had online chats the last 2 nights with support, no solution. Scheduled to be called by support last night at 6:30pm, still waiting on that call. Online chat support promised I would get a call today from their Advanced Tech Support, still waiting on that call also. Very frustrated to say the least.
Haven't been able to stream Xfinity Beta Stream with Roku for over a week. Had worked flawlessly for the last several months.
Well, the saga continues. Scheduled another call last night, never received. Got on the online chat and after going thru the same steps for the 3rd night in a row, I finally got transferred to Advanced Repair. Went thru the same troubleshooting steps as I did with the original online agent. Then suddenly my modem resets, I assume the agent did it remotely. Due to this, the chat with Advanced Repair was disconnected. Bottom line, same error: getchannelMap.TVAPP-00502.
At this rate, I am seriously considering cancelling my suscription with Comcast. Also considering NOT paying the cancellation fee due to subpar service and customer support.
Extremely disappointed and frustrated.
Surely I'm not the only customer dealing with this error......
I have been on phone with tech support three times over two days, going on 3 hours now with no results. O phone with them now. Very frustrating that Xfinity gave the problem an error message but nobody at infinity knows how to resolve the error. Does that sum up our situation?
Did you issue ever get fixed I have the same issue
