Xfinity Streaming App: Access To Full Guide While Watching Live TV

This might be a feature request or inquiry, so my apologies if it needs to go somewhere else. In the X1 box I have at the house, I am able to access the full guide while whatever I am watching on live TV is playing in the background.  That feature does not appear to be available with the streaming app with the live TV option, and all I have access to without stopping whatever I am watching is the mini guide. Is that a feature that can be added to the app, or is the app not built to support such a feature? I am using the Xfinity streaming app on a Roku device.

Thanks for reaching out to us, the Xfinity streaming app doesn't have the same functions as your X1 platform does on your TV box, but we thank you for your feedback and we're always looking on ways to improve the customer experience.

Howdy @XfinityOrlandoM , I don't know how the app works on other platforms as my device is a Roku device, but I have noticed the web stream option (xfinity.com/stream) allows me to switch to a mini player and have access to the full guide while still watching a live channel. 

Is that a limitation within the Roku platform, or does it apply to all other device specific apps/platforms?

That is a great questions, @CustomerMS! With the Xfinity Stream App on different platforms such as Roku or Apple Tv, there are restrictions on the mini guides and what is available for features. The feature is available via browser, but the same feature may not be there for the App specifically.
